SPPU Pune Result 2026

Savitribai Phule Pune University was established on 10 February 1949 as the University of Poona and was renamed in 2014 to honour Savitribai Phule, the 19th-century social reformer and educator who, together with her husband Jyotirao Phule, opened some of India's first schools for girls and for children from marginalised communities in Pune, at real personal risk in a period of strong social resistance to that idea. The university's main campus spans roughly 411 acres in Pune, and it is one of the largest affiliating universities in the country by reach — around 600-plus colleges across Pune, Ahmednagar and Nashik districts report to it, alongside close to 50 of its own postgraduate departments and hundreds of recognised research institutes.

Why a result might not show up yet

With affiliated colleges spread across three districts, SPPU does not release every result on a single day — each course, and often each college, is processed and published as its evaluation finishes. Check the exact scheme your programme follows, since SPPU runs both semester (CBCS) and older annual patterns depending on the course and when you enrolled, and confirm your college is affiliated to SPPU rather than a nearby autonomous or deemed university — Pune has several.

The result on the portal is provisional. Your marksheet/statement of marks is issued by your college or the university, typically some weeks later — plan around that gap if you need the physical document for admission or a job application.

How to check

1. Open www.unipune.ac.in and go to the results / examination section.
2. Select your exact course and semester.
3. Enter your PRN or seat number as printed on your hall ticket.
4. Save the result as a PDF as soon as it appears.

If a mark looks wrong, or a paper didn't clear

• Photocopy of the answer sheet lets you see how a paper was marked.
• Verification / revaluation rechecks totals or sends the script to another examiner, at a fee per paper, and can move the mark either way.
• Applications are usually submitted online through the university's exam portal within the short window announced after each result, often routed through your college.
• For a backlog (ATKT) paper, ask your college when the next examination for that subject is scheduled.
