IBPS PO is the common recruitment run by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for Probationary Officer posts across public-sector banks. Selection has three stages — Prelims then Mains then Interview — followed by provisional bank allotment, all published on ibps.in.
An important nuance candidates miss: the Prelims score does not count toward the final merit — it is purely qualifying. The final list is built from your Mains + interview performance, so pace your preparation accordingly.
