IGNOU Result 2026 (Term-End Exam)

IGNOU holds Term-End Exams twice a year — the June and December sessions. Check the official portal below for your semester — or get an alert the moment the next result drops:

  1. Open ignou.ac.in and go to Results → Term-End Exam Result.
  2. Enter your 9- or 10-digit enrolment number and select your programme.
  3. View your subject-wise result, then check the Grade Card for your consolidated marks.

IGNOU is India's largest university by enrolment, and its Term-End Exam (TEE) results are among the most-searched education results in the country.

Two things make IGNOU results different from a board result:

  • Results are released in batches over several weeks, not on a single date — a missing result often just means your programme hasn't been processed yet.
  • Your exam result and your Grade Card are separate. The Grade Card combines exam marks with assignment marks and is the one that reflects your actual standing.

How do I check my IGNOU result?
Use your enrolment number on the Term-End Exam result page at ignou.ac.in. Results appear subject-wise; your consolidated performance including assignments shows on the separate Grade Card portal.
Why is my IGNOU assignment mark missing?
Assignment marks are uploaded by your regional centre separately from the exam result and often appear on the Grade Card weeks later. If they are still missing after that, contact your regional centre rather than the exam branch.
When are IGNOU TEE results declared?
IGNOU conducts Term-End Exams in June and December, with results usually published within about a month to six weeks of the session ending — released in batches rather than all at once.
