Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University, Alwar was constituted on 23 August 2012 under the Matsya University Act, after being announced in that year's Rajasthan state budget. It was renamed in July 2014 to Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University, after the philosopher-king Bhartrihari long associated with the region. The university is still, notably, a work in progress physically — it currently operates from a temporary campus at Babu Shobha Ram Government Arts College, while its own permanent campus is being built at Village Haldeena, Malakhera — even as it affiliates a large and growing number of colleges across the Alwar region.
What "semester result" means here
There is no single result date. Each course, semester and college batch is evaluated and published as the examination branch finishes processing it, so results for different colleges — and different programmes at the same college — appear on their own schedules, sometimes weeks apart.
The result on the portal is provisional. Your marksheet is issued through your college, and given the university's own administrative setup is still maturing alongside its physical campus, it is worth allowing more buffer time than usual between the online result and the physical marksheet reaching you.
How to check
- Open rrbmuniv.ac.in and find the results / examination section.
- Select your exact course, semester and scheme — check both semester and annual listings if your programme could fall under either.
- Enter your roll number as printed on your admit card.
- Save the result as a PDF as soon as it appears.
If a mark looks wrong, or a paper didn't clear
- Rechecking confirms your marks were totalled and recorded correctly.
- Revaluation sends the script for a fresh assessment by another examiner, at a higher fee, and can move a mark either way.
- Both are applied for through your college examination cell within the short window announced after each result.
- For a backlog paper, your college examination cell will have the schedule for the next chance to clear it.
Before you rely on any of this
We publish result status and official links — we are not RRBMU, and we cannot look up, alter or re-check a result. Scheme rules, revaluation fees and backlog timelines are set by the university and do change, particularly as its systems continue to develop. Confirm the current position with your college examination cell.
