UPSMFA Result 2026 (ANM, GNM & Paramedical)

The UP State Medical Faculty (UPSMFA) conducts examinations for nursing and paramedical programmes in Uttar Pradesh — ANM, GNM and a range of paramedical diplomas. If you are waiting on this result, you are almost certainly heading towards clinical practice, and that makes one thing more important than your marks: registration.

The result is a step towards registration, not the end of it

Passing your final examination does not, by itself, let you practise. For nursing and most paramedical roles, you need to be registered with the relevant council before you can be employed in the role you trained for. The qualification is the prerequisite; the registration is the licence.

That means the sequence after a final-year result is:

1. Result published.
2. Marksheet and passing/diploma certificate issued.
3. Registration applied for, with those documents.
4. Employment, which will ask for the registration number.

Steps 2 and 3 take time, and employers frequently ask for a registration number at the point of application. Starting the process the week your result appears rather than the week you find a vacancy is the single most useful thing you can do.

How to check your result

1. Open the official UPSMFA result portal from the link on this page.
2. Select your course — ANM, GNM or the specific paramedical diploma — and the correct year and session. Choosing the wrong course or session is the usual reason a result appears to be missing.
3. Enter your roll number exactly as printed on your admit card.
4. Save the result as a PDF straight away.

The online result is provisional. Originals come through your institution.

Check your certificate details immediately

For a registration-dependent career, a name mismatch is not a nuisance — it is a blocker. Councils and employers verify documents against each other, and inconsistencies stop the process.

Check, on the day you receive the certificate:

• Name spelling, against your Aadhaar and school certificates
• Father's or mother's name
• Date of birth
• Course name and specialisation, exactly as you will need to state it

Corrections route through the faculty and take time. Doing this at issuance rather than at registration saves months.

If you have a back paper or supplementary

Ask your institution about the supplementary examination schedule and the form window. Clinical programmes are sequential — a pending paper can hold up your progression to the next year or your final certification, which in turn delays registration and employment. This is a case where acting in the same week matters.

Keep your own document set

Across a two- or three-year programme you accumulate year-wise marksheets, an internship or practical completion record, and a final certificate. Registration and employment will ask for the set, not the last page.

Keep scanned copies of every document as it is issued, in one place. Students routinely reach the registration stage and find a first-year marksheet missing.
