UPMSP — India's largest board — runs a compartment and improvement exam after the main April result. Compartment is for students who need to clear a subject to pass; improvement is for those who passed but want better marks.

The result appears on upresults.nic.in, usually in early August, a few weeks after the exam.

Eligibility is narrower than the main exam (only a limited number of subjects qualify), so the cohort is far smaller than the ~50 lakh who sit the main papers — but for those students this is the result that decides their year.

When the result is declared, this page flips to Result out and the official link goes live. ResultIsOut never stores your marksheet — always verify on the official board portal.
