JAC Madrasa Result 2026

Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) runs a dedicated madrasa examination stream, separate from its general Class 10/12 board exams, for madrasas recognised by the state. The stream has three levels — Wastania (roughly Class 6–8, middle school), Fauquania (roughly Class 9–10, matriculation) and Maulvi (roughly Class 11–12, intermediate) — and results are published through the board's official channels, including the jacresults.com portal used for JAC's other results.

What the certificate is recognised for

Madrasa board qualifications are recognised by the state for a defined set of purposes, and how a Fauquania or Maulvi certificate maps to the general Class 10/12 system matters the moment you apply anywhere outside the madrasa system — a college, a government post, or a scholarship that specifies "Class 10 pass" or "Class 12 pass."

Recognition and equivalence are decided by the receiving institution, not by this page and not by the board alone. A university admissions office, a recruiting body or a scholarship scheme states its own equivalence criteria — two institutions can, and sometimes do, treat the same certificate differently. So the reliable order is:

1. Identify where you actually want to apply.
2. Read that institution's stated equivalence clause for madrasa-board qualifications.
3. Collect exactly what it asks for — often the marksheet, the certificate, and sometimes a separate equivalence letter from the state.

Doing this the other way round, and assuming equivalence, is where students lose an admission cycle.

How to check the result

1. Open jac.jharkhand.gov.in or jacresults.com.
2. Select the madrasa result section, then your level — Wastania, Fauquania or Maulvi — rather than the general board's Class 10/12 link, which is a separate result.
3. Enter your roll number / registration number exactly as printed on the admit card.
4. Save the result as a PDF as soon as it loads — the printout is provisional; the original marksheet and certificate come through your madrasa.

Collect your documents early

• Get the original marksheet and certificate from your madrasa as soon as they're distributed, rather than waiting until an admission form is due.
• Check every detail against your other records — name, father's/guardian's name and date of birth, exactly as they appear on your Aadhaar and earlier certificates. A mismatch is far easier to fix now than at a later verification.
• Corrections go through the board via your madrasa and take time — start the same week you notice an error.

If your result is withheld or doesn't appear

A missing result isn't necessarily a failed one. Common causes are administrative — incomplete enrolment records from the madrasa, a fee or form discrepancy, or a result flagged for review. In each case, start with your madrasa, which holds the enrolment record the board is working from, then follow up with the board if needed. Don't assume the worst from a blank result screen before you've confirmed the actual status.

If you did not clear

Ask your madrasa about the supplementary/compartment route for your level and its timetable — boards generally run these promptly so a student doesn't lose a full academic year, but the registration window is short and is usually communicated through the madrasa rather than directly to candidates.
