How to check

  1. Open mahatet.in and go to the MAHA TET result section.
  2. Enter your roll number / application number and date of birth.
  3. Check your paper-wise score and qualifying status, then download the scorecard.

MAHA TET is conducted by Maharashtra State Council of Examination, Pune to certify eligibility for teaching posts in Maharashtra — Paper 1 for Classes 1–5 and Paper 2 for Classes 6–8.

Around 3 lakh candidates appear in a typical MAHA TET cycle. The test is run by MSCE Pune, which also conducts the TAIT recruitment test — the two are often confused, but TET is eligibility and TAIT is the selection exam that follows.

Qualifying MAHA TET is a prerequisite for applying through Maharashtra's Pavitra teacher-recruitment portal.

A TET pass is the gateway: it does not by itself give you a job, but you cannot be appointed without it.

What does MAHA TET qualify you for?
MAHA TET certifies that you meet the eligibility standard to be appointed as a teacher in Maharashtra — Paper 1 for Classes 1–5 and Paper 2 for Classes 6–8. It is an eligibility test, not a recruitment exam: clearing it makes you eligible to apply, but appointment happens through a separate recruitment process.
When is the MAHA TET result declared?
Maharashtra State Council of Examination, Pune publishes the result on mahatet.in, usually a few weeks after the exam. Objection windows on the answer key normally close before the final result is issued.
