KTET is conducted by Pareeksha Bhavan, Government of Kerala to certify eligibility for teaching posts in Kerala — Categories I–IV covering lower primary, upper primary, high school and specialist teachers.
KTET runs two to three cycles a year, which makes it one of the more frequent TET results to track. It is conducted by Pareeksha Bhavan, the same body behind Kerala's school exams — note this is separate from Kerala PSC, which handles the actual recruitment.
A TET pass is the gateway: it does not by itself give you a job, but you cannot be appointed without it.
